The (Schiavos') lawyer, David Gibbs, also said Ms. Schiavo's religious beliefs as a Roman Catholic were being infringed because Pope John Paul II has deemed it unacceptable for Catholics to refuse food and water."We are now in a position where a court has ordered her to disobey her church and even jeopardize her eternal soul," Mr. Gibbs said.
Worried about the wrong eternal soul, and a little unclear on the whole God thing.
Can you believe we've come to debating the fate of eternal souls in the federal freakin' courts? This is the third sign of the apocalypse.
Stupidity made all the more stupid by the fact that Schiavo is in a coma BECAUSE OF AN EATING DISORDER.
