Convention Blogging

I know I never bothered to apply for a blogger press pass to the DNC 2004 in Boston, which pretty much explains why I'm sitting here on my couch in San Francisco completely without baton welts on my forehead.

But I have been closely following the vast quantities of keystrokes emanating from that fair city, and after much thought, I have established for myself a clear idea of what the Democratic platform this year is.

They are pro-good and anti-bad.

Bill Clinton got his best book-sales gig ever, and Hillary Clinton officially started her 2008 bid with the dullest speech ever (someone has to replace her batteries). And everyone still hates Teddy Kennedy.

The only news to come out of the convention is that something called "blogs" are the Next Big Thing.

It's so hard to keep up, we need updates every half-minute!

How glorious to read someone who isn't faking orgasms over this confounded Convention! Sterkte!

What bloggers are in attendance at the Dem convention? Got the URLs? Are they worth checking out?

i'm with you brooke. the worst convention blogging are the ones who are doing little more than name-dropping and posting photos of themselves with famous people.

And not one of them that I've read has reported on Medea Benjamin's ejection from the floor during Teresa Kerry's speech last night--probably while T. was waxing about the need to "listen to the women." Harumph.
